    Dear Bill,
Today I discovered your blog in looking for information about the Camino VDLP.
It is a wonderful blog, with a good spirit and very inspiring.

I walked from St Jean to Finsterra in spring 2010. Now I would like to do another camino.

Could you tell me which guidebook you used for the Seville-Santiago route?
    Thank you.

      Hi Gabriella

I wish that I could tell you that I have solved the problem of a good guidebook in English for the V d P but I havent. I am using a Spanish guidebook which I downloaded from the net called Eroski Consumer Guia. It is ok for basic route information but is imprecise in so many ways. Basically I follow the arrows. If I had to do it again I would also bring with me Alison Ruhu s Cicerone guide from 2006 in English for more detail not for route information. I have seen others using a better published Spanish guidebook but I havent been able to find it even here. I hope that this helps!
